Our Mortar

The aim of SOLOECO’s project is to guaratee an ecologic and very high quality product. For this reason, we use a special ecological mortar obtained by aqueous dispersion, that can satisfy the growing needs of sustainability, personalization and innovation.

It can bring a new life to house and working areas, giving the double possibility of covering new products and renovating old pieces of furniture, walls and floors. The SOLOECO® system doesn’t use any kind of epoxy resin, lime, gypsum or cement in its ecological mortar. It can be applied to any surface (wood, glass, iron, plastic, ceramic) and it is breathable, elastic, no yellowing, fireproof, waterproof and easy-care.

SOLOECO® uses every colours of the RAL and NCS colour systems, different kind of grains and of levels of opaqueness.

THE MORTAR

The SOLOECO SYSTEM is composed of mortars containing inert polymers in liquid suspension , spherical quartz sand, calcium carbonate and organic additives that are free of cement and epoxy resins. SOLOECO SYSTEM is custom-made, rendering our product absolutely unique and ensuring your full satisfaction.

COLOUR SAMPLES

All colours in the RAL and NCS ranges can be used. The colours may appear slightly different from the samples, as a result of different materials and changing reflectivity. These differences cannot give rise to any disputes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

For effective cleaning of SOLOECO we propose our product SOLOCIT which comes in two different fragrances: raspberry and cologne. Alternatively, warm water can be used (preferably distilled to remove limestone) mixed with apple vinegar (20% or more, as required). You can use also neutral, non-aggressive detergents that are widely available. These products can be used neat or diluted with warm water depending on the type of dirt to be removed, and applied using micro-fiber cloths or floor cleaning equipment. As regards repairs, we recommend that you contact a qualified tradesman.

We strongly advise you to avoid the use of detergents containing solvents and concentrated acids. The surfaces must not be treated, in any way, with alcohol, acetone, solvents or similar substances.

APPLICATION OF SOLOECO

Our ecological mortar can be used both indoors and outdoors, on vertical, horizontal and angled surfaces and on any dry surface, that is not flaky and that is free from oil, wax and dirt. Our products can be applied to: cement, plaster, clay, pottery, marble, plastic, tiles, wood, metal, polystyrene, glass, cardboard, and rubber.

HIGH RESISTANCE TO THE FORMATION OF CRACKS

Our ecological mortar is free from epoxy resins or cement and thanks to its 3D structure it is exceptionally flexibility and has a very good level of plasticity. Both of these qualities ensure that cracks do not form.

HIGH RESISTANCE TO SUNLIGHT AND TO ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT

The SOLOECO SYSTEM has excellent resistance to the UV and IR rays, meaning that the original color remains unchanged.

SHORTER DRYING TIME

Only a few hours after application, it is possible to walk on SOLOECO mortar. After 48 hours it can be driven on.
